Painting and design
A painter and designer with a substantial body of work, Dubravka Vojnović evokes the Mediterranean through her vibrant use of colour, bringing together the landscape and the city’s cultural heritage in a single image. Alongside painting she works in textile design and creates unique hand-painted costumes.
Dubravka Vojnović broadened the understanding of textile design and design for textiles in our community, and in doing so introduced us to a new medium of both artistic and design practice.
— Ivana Šverko, professor of design (translated from the Croatian)
